TB Series

The TB series from CMZ are machines that are predominantly used for machining from bar, small billets and shafts.

This range has two machine sizes; 46mm and 67mm bar capacity.

Driven tools and a C axis is available too for milling, driiling and tapping of turned parts.

These machines are equipped with the Fanuc HVi spindle motor. This integral direct drive motor has a high torque and low moment of intertia giving fast acceleration/deceleration times.

The turret is also driven by a servo motor. This allows high speed indexing of only 0.15 seconds for adjacent stations and 0.4 seconds for a 180° index. Highly accurate repeatable indexing is assured by the use of a curvic coupling (about twice as accurate as a Hurth coupling).

Fanuc 'Manual Guide i' conversational programming and Ethernet PC Hi-speed network connection are standard features.
